Exploring the Future of Medical Education: Nigerian Education and Health Ministry Delegation Visited Tellyes

Recently, Tellyes welcomed a delegation from Nigerian Education Ministry and Health Ministry. Aiming to foster collaboration, they observed the advances of Chinese modern medical education and focused on the design, construction, and management of medical simulation centers.

Immersive Medical Technology Learning

The delegation began its tour at TAME (Tellyes Academy of Medical Education), where they personally experienced how frontline technologies are reshaping medical education modes and pushing the development of healthcare.

1.Enhance Clinical Decision-Making Ability

The delegation members spoke highly of the Clinical Decision-Making System and Critical Decision-Making System. With a built-in library of over a hundred authentic clinical cases, diverse intervention and treatment options, as well as realistic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, these two products provide robust support for training of clinical decision-making ability. They believed that such Decision-Making Systems effectively bridge the gap between theory and practice, serving as a core tool for cultivating proficient medical professionals.

2.Practice Realistic Physical Examination

Through hands-on practice of inspection, auscultation, percussion, and palpation, the delegation has gained comprehensive understanding of SP Brothers. The vast case library, specialized training & assessment modes, and realistic physiological feedback received widespread acclaim. The delegation hailed it as a revolutionary tool for students to enhance the standardization and accuracy of physical examinations.

3.Replicate High-Risk Scenarios

The delegation also closely studied the comprehensive emergency care functions of MULAN™-Multifunction Patient Simulator, particularly highlighting its role in enhancing teamwork across first-aid to pre‑hospital to in‑hospital scenarios. They noted that such a fully‑featured multifunction patient simulator is rarely available in the market and expressed strong interest in future collaboration.

During the demonstration of NUWA™-Birthing Simulator, the delegation commended its accurate simulation of various delivery scenarios, including vaginal delivery, shoulder dystocia, etc. They also recognized its potential to reduce the local maternal mortality rate through improving the emergency response and abilities to safeguard maternal and neonatal safety of obstetric staff.

4.Promote Emergency Response Efficiency

Guardian Ultra, which is designed for comprehensive emergency care training across pre-hospital, transfer and in-hospital, covering BLS, ALS and ACLS, enabled the delegation to experience an immersive multi-team emergency drill. Under full-process demonstration, the instructor can guide and monitor multiple learner units in real time for training, assessment and debriefing. The delegation agreed that this collaborative mode overcomes the limitations of traditional single-learner training and is crucial for enhancing overall response efficiency and teamwork in both pre-hospital and in-hospital emergency care.

2.Learning from Chinese Hospital

After leaving TAME, the delegation visited Tianjin Kanghui Hospital, a key strategic partner of Tellyes, for an in-depth observation. As a large tertiary general hospital integrating healthcare, teaching, research, and preventive health, Tianjin Kanghui Hospital combines advanced medical equipment with an intelligent management system, serving as an outstanding example of hospitals in China.

Tianjin Kanghui Hospital first introduced its achievements in discipline development, clinical teaching, and smart healthcare. The Nigerian delegation pointed out that Nigeria is at a critical stage of optimizing its medical education system, and the practical experience of Kanghui Hospital provides a valuable reference. During the meeting, both parties held vibrant and in-depth discussions on key topics including “The construction of a critical care simulation teaching system” and “Training modes for primary healthcare talents”. The exchange was substantive and forward-looking, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing medical education and improving clinical training practices.

Following this productive study tour, the Nigerian delegation highly commended Tellyes for its innovative capabilities and comprehensive solutions. They stated this visit was meaningful, having provided them not only with a clear understanding of modern Chinese medical education system but also with a concrete plan and strong confidence in advancing national healthcare talent development through medical education.

This visit has not only strengthened friendship and mutual trust, but also built a solid foundation for future collaboration between Tellyes and Nigerian partners. Tellyes will continue to expand its presence in African and international markets, deepen its AI-powered medical education products, and construct high-fidelity simulator systems. These efforts aim to consistently expand the influence and leadership of Tellyes, and provide stronger technological support in the global medical education field.
